Senior Advanced Skills Practitioner [

The salary range is £33,531 to £38,916. You will normally be recruited at the lower end of the scale but your qualifications, skills and experience will be taken into consideration.
We are looking to appoint a Senior Advanced Skills Practitioner, as a full-time post, to promote excellence in learning and teaching through the sharing of good practice, and to strengthen the current SASP team.
SASPs will be responsible for leading on staff development sessions relating to learning and teaching, inducting new members of academic staff, carrying out informal lesson observations, and supporting curriculum teams to develop and evaluate their learning and teaching practices. The role provides cross-college coaching and mentoring support, and is pivotal in leading the college towards developing a culture of learning, and achieving outstanding status.
The successful candidate should have proven track record of Grade 1 learning and teaching, informal lesson observations and good curriculum management skills. Experience of vocational delivery , including NVQ delivery and internal verification is desirable.
