Annual Christmas Jumper Day raises over £100 for charity

Last week, Oaklands College took part in Christmas Jumper Day, joining nationwide fundraising efforts for the Save the Children charity. 

Students joined staff members on the final day of term, collaborating from across the entirety of Oaklands College in fundraising attempts which raised over £100. 

Hair & Beauty students at our on-site OASIS salon in Welwyn Garden City were on-hand to deliver a range of festive treatments to visiting customers, showcasing the skills they have developed throughout their training. 

Members of reception at both our St Albans and Welwyn Garden City campuses were on-hand to fundraise, spreading festive cheer and participating in photo opportunities with staff and students, as well as raising the awareness of the ‘Save the Children’ charity.
