FREE entrepreneurial event for young people aged 14 - 18 wanting to start up their own business
WELWYN GARDEN CITY — On Thursday 19 April, 5-7.30pm, Oaklands College and Welwyn Hatfield District Council have joined forces to put on a free entrepreneurial event for young people aged 14 – 18 wanting to start up their own business.
Throughout the evening there will be interactive workshops led by specialists in Design, Online Marketing, Money and more. The budding entrepreneurs of tomorrow will be able to “grill the experts” about his/her real-life business start-up, as well as gain invaluable advice to help them kick-start their own businesses.
Zoe Hancock, College Principal commented: “The event demonstrates a great partnership between the College, Herts Youth Connexions and local businesses, all to help guide, support and encourage the personal development and business ideas within young people.
“We set up this event to, not only promote the idea of young people having their own business, but to help them turn those ideas into realities through the teaching of real business acumen and innovation.”
