Blue for Bailey

A massive thank you goes out to all who contributed towards the £593.16 total for Bailey Sarwa!

Last Wednesday, 21 March, was “Wear Blue for Bailey Day”, a day in which we asked all students and staff to wear blue for Bailey Sarwa and donate £1 – or more – towards raising vital funds for medical care to help him fight neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer.

Bailey is a 12-year-old boy from St Albans and has already bravely fought off cancer once, but has recently relapsed and therefore not eligible for the life-saving antibody that is available here in the UK. He needs to raise between £100,000 to £500,000 to pay for treatment in Germany and so we asked the community to come together on this one day and help support Bailey and his family raise as much money as they can to give him the best chance of getting well again.

A massive thank you goes out to all who contributed towards the £593.16 total, whether that was through buying some treats from Nicola Thomas’ Health & Social Care students Bake Sale, through one of the campuses refectories and receptions, or the college’s pledge page.
