College approved by Institution of Mechanical Engineers

The College’s Apprenticeship department have recently been Engineering Technician (EngTech) approved through the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

The approval comes after the College’s Engineering Apprenticeship department produced an excellent piece of work with IMechE.

Andrea Fitzgerald, Business Partnership Manager for Construction and Engineering, said: “We are delighted that the College has been awarded through IMechE, our Engineering Apprenticeship can now be badged with the IMechE EngTech approval logo, which should attract further mechanical engineering based companies to our Apprenticeship scheme.

“It also means that anyone completing the scheme can achieve full IMechE membership (MIMechE) and EngTech registration.”
