College Honours Higher Education 2013 Graduates

54 graduates celebrated their achievements

WELWYN GARDEN CITY — Last week, Oaklands College opened its hall at Welwyn Garden City to 54 graduates and their families to celebrate achievements across a range of HNCs, HNDs, Foundation Degrees and BScs.

Students proudly donned their gowns and received certificates in a ceremony led by Principal Zoe Hancock.

Their success was recognised by local Mayors of St Albans, Welwyn Hatfield and Hertsmere as well as Head of Higher Education, Nick Hardman, who commented: “As we draw towards the end of the year, it is important to look back and honour the achievements and hard work of our graduate students.

“The Graduation Ceremony provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate and also find out about how our students are choosing to progress in their careers.”
