College Life Taster Days

Oaklands College is enhancing its already popular Open Evening series by building in the opportunity for prospective students to experience real lessons in the February Taster sessions. Following the record number of attendees in November, the taster sessions are a sensible step forward to allow students to “have a go” before they talk formally to a tutor. 

The February Open Evenings will be preceded by 2 hours of Taster Sessions to provide students with an insight into a learning environment that only college can offer. This is a great chance for students to meet the teaching staff, and explore what Oaklands has to offer them. After the students have “tasted” their session, they can then look around the campus during the Open Evening session.
