Important Course Information

What are the Course Requirements?

Students will do a test to check their level or you can present your certificates from another college if you have taken them in the last 2 years.

This course is for speakers of English as a second language who live and work in the UK. Classes are twice a week. You must be able to attend both classes. You will have a test to see your level. The courses are part funded by the government so you will need to pay fees. You may be entitled to free courses if you are unemployed, looking for work, and on a recognised benefit. Please ask about this if you are not sure. If you have not been an EU resident for 3 years, you may have to pay international fees. It may be possible for you to start later in the year if you are not a complete beginner.

During the year you will take formal exams in Speaking and Listening, Reading, and Writing. These are accredited by Trinity College London. Your teacher will decide if you are ready to take the exams. The teacher's decision is final.
