Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care

Students will be required to completed nine mandatory units (24 credits) and an optional 22 credits totalling 46 credits.

Health & Safety, Hospitality Legislation, Customer Care Skills and Knowledge eg: Restaurant Reception, Reception, Kitchen.

Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Work Based)

Diploma Level 3 requires candidates to complete 58 credits; 28 credits are from mandatory units and 30 credits are optional units (which are related to the candidates roles and responsibilities). There are three pathways which candidates can undertake, according to their working environment. These are Dementia, Learning Disability or General. Assessment is carried within the workplace, research and study are required within the Guided Learning hours for each unit.

Level 3 Workbased Diploma in Amenity Horticulture

The course is delivered in your workplace using a mix of learning that involves use of the College online learning platform (Oaklearn) and Assessor guidance. There is not normally a need for learners to attend College other than for an interview and initial assessment. The duration of the course will in most cases be 14 months and you can start at any point in the year.
