Overview

Over the two-year course, you will learn about all areas of running a successful business, including:
– Management and leadership
– Managing strategic direction and change

You will also develop decision-making skills and strategies to improve:
– Marketing and operational performance
– Financial performance
– Human resource performance

Am I right for the course?

If you are interested in how businesses run and what makes a successful business, including learning about all aspects of marketing, finance, leadership and management, then this is the course for you! This course enables you to study all aspects of the world of business through the context of current business developments and real business situations. You will learn how management, leadership and decision-making can improve performance in marketing, operational, human and financial resources.

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at 5, with a minimum of a 6 in English Literature or English Language

You will sit various in-class assessments over the two-year course, leading up to formal exams at the end of the second year.

What Next?

Business is a wide-ranging and popular A Level. It is an appropriate choice for those considering careers in all areas of business, including media and marketing, finance, customer services, business analysis, social and market research, teaching and many more. It combines well with A-levels in English Literature, Psychology, Sociology and Law.

A Levels can lead you onto many different career paths, including university to further develop your skills in your chosen subject(s).

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.

For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.

Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.

All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
