Level 1 Access Award in Bookkeeping

Am I right for the course?

This is an entry qualification into Bookkeeping and Accounting so you do not need to have previous Bookkeeping or Accounting experience.
A reasonable level of Maths and English ability is necessary, however, e.g. Functional Skills Level 1 or GCSE grade D/3.
If you are unsure of your Maths and English level, you can take a assessment at college.
You also need to demonstrate that you are assessed as Foundation Level on the AAT Skillcheck http://www.aatskillcheck.org/.

You will be assessed through an end of course online AAT exam at the college.

You will be taught by people who are experts in the fields of bookkeeping and accounting.

What Next?

If appropriate, you will be able to enrol for the Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting at the next enrolment opportunity. You will be able to discuss this with your tutor.
