Course Content - What will I learn?

You will learn cover: Food safety legislation, Personal hygiene, Keeping work areas clean and tidy, Identifying and resolving food safety issues, and Catering practices.

Am I right for the course?

You should be in the industry or looking to go into the industry in both front or back of house. This course is for all food handlers as a legal requirement.

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 9 – 3 including a grade 4 in either maths or English and a Level 1 qualification.

You will be assed by completing a multiple choice quiz in which you must achieve 28 out of 40 to achieve a pass.

Fees

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.

For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.

Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.

All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
