Spanish Improvers Continuation: Thu 18 Apr, 19:00-21:00
Overview
The theme of the course is to revise and extend: Building on previous knowledge including shopping, eating out, booking theatre tickets, talking about work, giving directions, expressing likes and dislikes. You will revise the present tense, including key irregular verbs, saying what you are going to do, talking about things that happened in the past.
Course Content - What will I learn?
Tutors use the latest learning technology and encourage learners to use ICT in accessing additional resources from the college’s virtual learning environment during the duration of the course, If you have any concerns with this please talk to the tutor.
Am I right for the course?
Learners who are 19 years old and over and have previous experience of the language at beginners level (approx 40 hours).
This course is designed for students who have completed a Beginner’s and Improvers course (approximately 40 hours of teaching) or for those who would like a refresher course. If would like some advice on whether this is the course for you, please call 01727 737154.
You will be assessed at the beginning of the course and throughout in a number of formal and informal ways. There is no exam attached to this course.
Materials to be provided by the learners: If you are continuing there is no additional material required. For new learners please discuss with the tutor.
You will be taught by a qualified and experienced tutor.
What Next?
Preparation for Intermediate Spanish Part A, B & C. Part A and B are 10 weeks and Part C 8 weeks. Students will need to enrol on each part throughout the academic year.

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
