ESOL & Improving Communication Skills: Starts Fri 1 Oct, 09:30-11:30, Hatfield Venue
This entry level course is for students where English is not their first language. You will develop or continue to develop your skills in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing, allowing you to communicate more confidently in everyday situations.
This course is 11 weeks long, each lesson is 2 hours and taught once a week.
Students will be expected to attend each week.
Once this course is completed you will then be able to progress to Further ESOL and start/continue to undertake units awards at entry level in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.

Course Content - What will I learn?
You will study grammar, vocabulary, connected to everyday activities. You will practise Reading and Writing in everyday situations.
Am I right for the course?
This course is for learners who are 19 years old or over who are just beginning to learn English or need to improve at Entry level. This course is not suitable for people who are at Level 1/ Level 2.
Learners have to be a minimum of 19 years old to join, new students will take a language assessment to ascertain their current level.
You will be assessed informally during the course.
You will be taught by qualified and experienced tutors.
Further ESOL courses; college vocational programmes at Entry 3 and above.
