Overview
To understand the health and safety aspects of working with flowers and associated material. To understand the use of bio foam and other sustainable mechanics available. To develop an understanding of the use of tools and equipment. To be able to choose plant material and flowers for designs. To learn the skills to make a buttonhole, table decoration and bouquet.
The cost of the flowers/ material are not included in the fee. A list is sent prior to the start of the course.
Am I right for the course?
If you have an interest in exploring your creative side and have previous experience in floral design then this short course provides the foundation in developing new skills.
Students need to be a minimum of 19 years old and have some previous experience of floral design.
Class discussion, one to one feedback, finished items.
Learners are required to bring flowers and material. A list will be sent one week prior to course commencement.

Fees
16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
