Floristry Designs – Improvers Continuation: Mon 30 Sep, 19:00-21:00
Overview
NEW! This six week course is for those who have previously completed our Introduction and/or Improvers course and want to expand and develop your floristry skills and knowledge further. You will create:
1. A rectangular design using the French Pave technique with fresh flowers. The design is ideal for home or the office displayed on a low or corner table.
2. An eco-friendly hanging heart design with lots of textured materials and beautiful dried blooms. Great fun to make for display at home or to be given as a gift.
3. A floral arrangement with a seasonal pumpkin (if available) or bowl using rich autumn colours, twigs, leaves, moss, lichen and various autumnal flowers.
4. A long and low woodland eco design using sustainable techniques and mechanics – with bark and moss and other natural degradable materials. Ideal for mantelpiece of for middle of dinner table.
5. A natural container around a glass cylinder vase, using tall flower and foliage stems and decorate with raffia or ribbon. Adaptable design which can be recycled many times.
6. A natural autumnal wreath with foraged berries, autumn leaves, seed heads and foliage. Materials should dry naturally to enjoy for many weeks.
Some designs may be subject to change, depending on seasonal availability. The tutor will demonstrate various arrangements, and then you can create your design to take home. Scissors and sundries will be provided. The cost of flowers is not included within the fee so you will be need to budget approximately £12-£15 per week.

Fees
16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
