Easy Vegan Cookery: Wed 9 Nov, 19:00-21:00
Each week you will prepare 2 dishes one sweet and one savoury treat. A list of ingredients to purchase is emailed/posted one week prior to the start of the first lesson.
Course Content - What will I learn?
You will prepare a range of sweet and savoury treats for example: bean burgers, vegan cream with pasta, raw power snacks, pinacolada mess. You will also learn about balancing a vegan diet, the function of ingredients and good cooking techniques.
Am I right for the course?
You will have an interest in quick and simple vegan cooking, and would like to try some new recipes, increase the amount of wholesome ingredients in your diet and be able to work safely in a professional kitchen environment
You will be 19 years old. Otherwise, there are no entry requirements.
You will be informally assessed throughout the course. You will also be encouraged to sympathetically assess each others’ dishes
Materials to be provided by the learners: Notebook and pen, apron and tea towel. Approximately 1 week before the course is due to start learners will receive a list of ingredients to purchase for the first lesson.
You will be taught by an experienced tutor.

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
