Creative Writing for Improvers: Tue 25 Apr, 19:00-21:00

Overview

The tutor (who is both an experienced teacher and a published author) will help you continue to develop your skills in creating stories, flash fictions, poems and other forms. We will explore the editing and drafting process in order to bring your work to a publishable standard, and look at different routes into presenting and publishing your work (eg. traditional vs self-publishing.)

Course Content - What will I learn?

Building on the basics: through written exercises, analysis of key texts by other writers and workshop-style discussion of learners’ stories we will reinforce and extend our knowledge of different genres and writing techniques. We will start to build up a portfolio of work which will showcase your improving skills and abilities.
