Overview

Have you got a smartphone that you want to learn more about, do you only use a few functions but are eager to utilise this resource more? Than help is at hand. Get more out of your phone by joining this four week practical course. You will explore your device options by delving into settings. Search, download, group and delete ‘apps’, phone storage and memory implications, understand common terminology, how you can customise your phones to meet your needs and more…

Am I right for the course?

This course is for all learners 60 and over who want to utilise the facilities available on their phone.

Students need to be have an android orApple mobile phone and can access their app store.

Group discussion, working individually

Materials to be provided by the learners: A charged mobile phone, pencil and pad to take notes.

Fees

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.

For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.

Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.

All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
