Get work ready!

course

Overview

Ensure you are seen as a capable individual throughout the application process. Move your life in the right direction to take advantage of the current situation of the shortfall of applicants for jobs.
This course is fully funded by the government to help those not in work to gather all the tools necessary to look for work and understand what the employer is looking for in applications and interviews.
Following this course, you will be able to job search and apply for jobs, whilst understanding what the employer is looking for from the candidates, you will have a comprehensive CV that shows your skills, qualities and achievements and know how to layout a cover letter that will lead to your CV being read and possibly lead to an interview.
To increase your confidence in interviews you will cover how to prepare for an interview, researching the company, looking at questions that you may be asked by the interviewer and questions for you to ask them regarding the role. You will also understand presentations skills which will improve your confidence of speaking aloud, followed by a mock interview.
All these techniques and practices will help you to get the job that you are looking for in the sector that suits you.
Currently there is a great opportunity to apply for jobs that you may think are above your level, especially if training is included, as there are more jobs than people to fill them and any experience that suits the role will be looked on favourably.
