Level 2 Diploma in Brickwork
Overview
1 year full time Level 2 Diploma. Core units are: Health & Safety and Principles of Construction. The practical units are: Setting Out, Constructing complex garden wall and detailed cavity walling. You will continue to study Maths and English at the level appropriate for you.
Course Content - What will I learn?
You will enhance the skills acquired during the Level 1 course. You will further develop your bricklaying skills with more experience and knowledge increasing your awareness of the construction industry and options for future qualifications and employment
Am I right for the course?
Having successfully completed your training on the Level 1 Diploma in Brickwork, the Level 2 Diploma is your natural progression. This course will help you get work in the construction industry. You will produce a portfolio of work to show future employers.
Level 1 Diploma in Brickwork qualification.
The course is assessed with practical modules and unit on-line exams and assignments. Students will sit two end of year exams in Brickwork & Functional skills & will have the option to sit the CSCS Health & Safety exam (additional cost for CSCS exam if the learner requires it).
All the tutors are fully qualified experienced bricklayers All the teachers regularly return to industry to keep up with current building methods of construction
What Next?
On successful completion of an Level 2 Diploma the natural progression is to continue developing your skills with a Level 3 diploma or an NVQ work based qualification
Trowel trades can lead you onto many different career paths, including higher level courses to further develop your skills in your chosen subject(s).

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
