Overview

This course is delivered in 1 year over two evenings a week. It allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the plumbing sector. It is for candidates who want to work as plumbers in the building services engineering sector. This qualification does not make candidates fully qualified plumbers

Unit 202/502 Electrical principles and processes for building services engineering
Unit 203 Scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing
Unit 204/504 Common plumbing processes
Unit 205/505 Cold water systems
Unit 206/506 Domestic hot water systems
Unit 207 Sanitation
Unit 208/508 Central heating systems
Unit 209/509 Drainage systems
Unit 210 Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering

What Next?

It allows candidates to progress into employment, or to the following City & Guilds qualifications:
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
• Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies

During any of our Plumbing and Gas courses you will be expected to seek employment in the industry enabling you to gain invaluable hands-on experience.

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.

For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.

Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.

All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
