VTCT L2 Award in Head Massage
The VTCT Level 2 Award in Head Massage is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in providing the relaxing and stress relieving treatment of head massage.
Course Content - What will I learn?
You will learn about the condition of the hair and scalp and classical massage techniques using shampoo, oils and conditioner.
You will also learn about the contra-indications to head massage, as well as the physiological benefits of the treatment.
Your next move could be to study further full time VRQ qualifications within the Beauty, Complementary Therapy and Media Make Up department and/or enhance your learning by taking part in the Continuous Professional Development Courses, 1 Day Workshops or Part-time Courses that we have on offer.
Our Hair and Beauty courses enable you to work in a wide variety of salons, nail bars, spas, cruise ships, or even work abroad in luxury resorts. Depending on the level you choose to study, we recommend that you carry on climbing the ladder within Oaklands, and then onto university or into employment.

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
