NCFE CACHE Level 1 Certificate Introduction to Health, Social Care & Children & Young People’s Settings

Overview

This course is designed to give an Introduction to 16-19 year olds wishing
to develop a career in either the Health and Social Care or the Early Years
Sectors. Whilst at the same time developing English, maths and social
skills.

It is recommended that you purchase the following book to support
you to be successful on your course:

Level 1 Introduction to Health and
Social Care and Children & Young People’s Settings by Corinne Barker and
Emma Ward, (ISBN: 978 1471 83017 4).

Course Content - What will I learn?

You will gain an understanding of equality and diversity, how to communicate effectively, how to support children and adults, health and safety , the Importance of healthy eating and the development of children and young people through play.

You will be able to progress on to the level 2 Health and Social Care course or the level 2 Childcare course.

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.

For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.

Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.

All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
