HNC / HND Music – Artistic Development
Overview
This two year course is designed to give students the power to create a professional portfolio of work ready for freelance roles, higher education, and the industry.
There will be opportunities to perform at local venues and collaborate with students across varied areas of the creative arts department, all whilst setting up an online profile to start generating streams.
Course Content - What will I learn?
You will receive industry-based lectures and have access to our mac suite loaded with Logic Pro X, keyboards and interfaces, as well as our in-house recording studio, rehearsal suites and performance theatre as part of your professional development.

Am I right for the course?
The Artistic Development course is designed to meet the needs of practitioners that are currently exploring their own song writing and production skills.
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music or 3 A Levels as well as GCSE English and Maths grade 4/C or above.
At Oaklands we have a variety of professional tutors who have significant industry experience.
What Next?
You could progress onto degree-level studies or seek employment in a field related to the music industry: Composer, Artist Management, Performer, Promotion and Marketing, Producer and A&R.
All Music students develop experience and knowledge of how the music industry works.

Fees
16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
