Level 3 Award in Education and Training

The Level 3 Award provides an introduction to teaching that will give you an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching/training sessions and how to assess and give constructive and developmental feedback.
You will have the opportunity to plan and deliver a teaching session (micro teach) as well as observe your fellow classmates when they deliver their own micro teaching session.

We offer classes from Entry 1 to Level 2 on Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday. Please check at your assessment for the timetable. You will study for Trinity ESOL Skills for Life Awards in Speaking and Listening, Reading, and Writing depending on your progress. You will study grammar and vocabulary appropriate to your level. You will practise reading and writing appropriate to your level.

Entry 1 and 2 students will complete an employability portfolio in the Autumn term.

Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training

This 15 week course is specifically for adult learners (age 19+) who wish to pursue a career as an employed or self-employed Personal Trainer. The qualification is based on the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) professional standards for personal training and includes all the elements required to work effectively as a Personal Trainer.

AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, January Start, One Evening Per Week, Blended Learning, 23 Weeks

This flexible course is delivered in partnership with Mindful Education, and combines online learning with face-to-face lessons in the classroom.
This Level 2 course is part-funded, so the cost for students is reduced.

This qualification delivers a solid foundation in finance administration and core accounting skills, including double-entry bookkeeping, basic costing and an understanding of purchase, sales and general ledgers.

Study the Level 2 certificate to gain a solid foundation in the basics of accounting.

On successful completion of this course, you might be eligible for a fully funded Level 3 course. Please see information on progression below.
