BHS Stage 1 Horse Knowledge and Skills – March
The 12 week BHS stage 1 care course will develop your skills and knowledge in the care of horses and within working safely on a stable yard with empathy towards both horses and colleagues. You will develop your knowledge and practical skills when carrying out routine tasks, such as mucking out, bedding down and providing food and water. This course only includes the training for the BHS assessment and does not include the BHS stage 1 exam. This can be booked and paid for directly through the British Horse Society.
