T Level in Business Management and Administration
Our T-level in Business Management and Administration is a two-year, technical study programme, designed with employers to give young people the skills required in industry. To achieve this qualification you’ll need to complete two components: a Core Component, and an Occupational Specialism.
Course Content - What will I learn?
The Core Component provides knowledge and understanding. It underpins key concepts, theories and principles relevant to the T-level and the subject sector. You will cover modules such as:
- Business context
- Quality and compliance
- Policies and procedures
- Project and change management
- Business behaviours
The Occupational Specialism provides the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve competence in Business Management and Administration and it provides you with the knowledge and skills required to enter employment or further study in the specific occupational area.
As well as completing the component above, you will also take part in an industry placement of at least 45 days. This will provide you with the industry-specific knowledge and skills to help boost your future prospects.
Am I right for the course?
You will need to have a genuine interest in business. Regular attendance, good time-keeping and the successful completion of assignments to the prescribed deadline are essential to succeed on this course.
5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including English and Maths.

The T Level is equivalent to 3 A Levels. This qualification provides a fantastic progression pathway into a number of roles within an organisation, which are transferable across all businesses.
16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.
For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
