Foundation Degree Business (Full-time)
Study Route… Full time 2 years and Part-time 2/3 years in WGC. This programme has been created in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire and will develop skills relevant to business needs.
Course Content - What will I learn?
The course contains a range of
modules covering the core business functions introducing marketing,
human resources, finance and business organisations, plus a workbased
learning project for a local employer. In Year 1 the range of modules
Developing Professional and Employability Skills,
Understanding and Promoting a Business,
Finance and Accounting for Business,
In Year 2 the range of modules includes…
Work Based Learning Project,
Performance Management and Employee Involvement,
Marketing in Practice.

You will need to have achieved A levels, or a BTEC National Qualification, equivalent to 120 UCAS points. In addition, you will need GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above. Mature students with non-standard qualifications will also be considered.
The course is assessed in the majority by coursework with some modules
including an examination.

We will strive to help you reach your potential through our pastoral and tutorial systems.
Successful completion of the course will enable you to progress to the second or third year of an appropriate Degree course at the University of Hertfordshire, another comparable university or to seek employment within the business sector.

Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
