A Level Courses

Our A Level Department based at our St Albans Campus offers a wide range of subjects, including those offered through our very successful school consortium partnerships.

What are A Levels useful for?

  • If you are considering going to university, A levels are useful preparation for study at the university as you will be completing assignments, studying independently and focusing on your areas of interest
  • Even if you don't want to continue into higher education, A levels allow you to keep your options open if you change your mind in the future
  • If you consider going into employment, A levels can help you get the job you want as this is a qualification easily recognised by employers
  • You can also make use of opportunities such as work placement or apprenticeship as part of your study.

As a full-time A Level student you will:

  • Be able to access our expanding virtual learning environment from college or home
  • Study in an adult environment with greater independence
  • Benefit from excellent teaching by subject specialists
  • Receive a high level of tutor support, as well as support to complete a UCAS application if you want to go to university after completing your A Levels.
