Community Learning Part Time Courses

Learning can open up a world of possibilities for everyone, regardless of age

The Community Learning team has a longstanding reputation of delivering part time courses at the College and in the community. Our part-time courses allow people to develop skills in an informal, friendly and fun environment, whether you want to further your career, take up a new hobby or learn a new skill.

The College welcomes all students, however some courses do require support. If you would like to tell us about any support needs you may have please call the Community Learning Team on 01727 737154.

Details of our new Autumn 2017 courses will be available at the end of June 2017

Please note that you need to be a minimum age of 19 years to enrol on one of our community learning courses.

Course Availability

The running of community learning courses is subject to receiving sufficient enrolment numbers. Oaklands College reserve the right to postpone or cancel a course if it has not received the minimum required enrolments by the scheduled start date. In the case of cancellation, those students enrolled will be notified a minimum of 2 days prior to the start of the course, where appropriate an alternative course will be offered or a full refund of their course fees will be processed.
