Agriculture - C&G L2 Diploma in Agriculture

This course is aimed at providing you with the knowledge and skills you need to work in Agriculture.

What are the Course Requirements?

Four GCSEs at Grade D or above in Maths, English and Science. Successful completion of the C&G Certificate in Land Based Studies in Animal Care, Equine or Horticulture and relevant practical experience would be an advantage.

  • Shhp Husbandry You will also study Maths and English as part of your programme at the level appropriate for you.

    On completion students may progress into employment or onto a relevant Level 3 programme.

    Our Animal Care Department comprises a large group of teaching staff with a wide range of animal industry experience including veterinary surgery and nursing, dog training, animal charities and safari parks. The team also has graduates of several disciplines including veterinary nursing & behaviour and wildlife conservation.

    For those of you wanting to go into employment, the aim of our course(s) are to produce competent carers working with animals, with the potential to take up management positions after further experience.
