Plumbing - Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Studies (6035-02)

the course is delivered in 1 year over two evenings a week. It allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the plumbing sector. It is for candidates who want to work as plumbers in the building services engineering sector. This qualification does not make candidates fully qualified plumbers

What are the Course Requirements?

You will need to be self motivated and have an aptitude for practical skills. you will also require maths and English to at least level 1 (assessments will take place at interview)

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through a range of methods which include online exams, written assignments and a practical portfolio.

It allows candidates to progress into employment, or to the following City & Guilds qualifications: . Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating . Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies

The plumbing department staff have all come from industry and have a large skills set. You will be taught by qualified and experienced gas and plumbing engineers.
During any of our Plumbing and Gas courses you will be expected to seek employment in the industry enabling you to gain invaluable hands-on experience. Plumbing and Gas courses here at Oaklands can lead you onto many different career paths, including higher level courses to further develop your skills in your chosen subject(s).
