This vibrant event highlighted different subject areas each day through captivating exhibitions of exemplary student work and heartfelt recognition ceremonies.

Each day was dedicated to a specific subject area, allowing for an in-depth celebration of achievements in fields such as arts, higher education, sports and vocational studies. The campus buzzed with excitement as attendees enjoyed the speeches and awards.

A highlight of the week was the attendance and inspiring speech by Annie Brewster JP, The High Sheriff of Hertfordshire. Her presence added a touch of distinction to the celebrations and her words resonated deeply with the students, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.

The event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors: University of Hertfordshire, Tewinbury Farm, VTCT, Tinies, Mindful Education, SA Law, Herts & Beds Constructing Excellence and RG Carter. Their contributions were instrumental in making the week a memorable success.

This year’s Festival of Achievement Week follows in the tradition of Oaklands College’s annual Celebration of Success, where the dedication, commitment and hard work of staff and students are recognised and applauded. As in previous years, the event served as a platform to acknowledge not only academic success but also the personal growth and resilience of students who have overcome challenges to excel in their studies.

The Festival of Achievement Week emphasised the vibrant and supportive community at Oaklands College. It highlighted the remarkable progress and achievements of our students, setting a positive tone as we look forward to the next academic year.
