The popular Festive Market returned for another year at Oaklands College, as L.I.F.E students ran stalls selling a variety of gifts in aid of the hydrotherapy pool fundraising efforts.

The Learning for Independence & Future Employment (L.I.F.E) department once again welcomed hundreds of visitors to its Christmas Market for another year, with students selling a number of hand made crafts, including Christmas wreaths, tree decorations, ornaments, hampers, festive gift tags and much more.

In addition, a tombola ran alongside the event with refreshments and festive treats for sale, with all profits contributing towards the departments hydrotherapy pool fundraising and offering students the opportunity to further improve the Oftsed Outstanding rated department and student experience.

Funds raised by the event will also contribute towards planning future enrichment events and activities for learners, furthering the educational experience they receive whilst at Oaklands College.

Since the beginning of the hydrotherapy pool fundraising, events such as this have helped raise an impressive £37,700.
