College honours Higher Education graduates

06 November 2011
Last week, Oaklands College opened its hall at Welwyn Garden City to over 60 graduates and their families to celebrate achievements across a range of HNCs, HNDs, Foundation Degrees  and BSCs.

Learners proudly donned their gowns and received certificates in a ceremony lead by Principal Zoe Hancock. The College's own Hospitality and Catering students provided all of the delicious food and an excellent front of house service for the evening.

The night was a great success and Zoe Hancock commented: "As we draw towards the end of the year, it is important to look back and honour the achievements and hard work of our graduate students. The Graduation Ceremony provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate and also find out about how our students are choosing to progress in their careers."
