Oaklands Athletes stole the show at SESSA Championships
Students win14 podium places against 21 universities and 11 other college teams

Oaklands College Athletics Team have once again stolen the show at the Southern England Students Sports Association (SESSA) Indoor Athletics Championship, winning 14 podium places against 21 universities and 11 other college teams.
Wins included 8 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals. With the most impressive result coming from the women’s relay squad who won by a dramatic 8 seconds setting the Championship record.
All of the athletes are students of the Oaklands Athletics Academy and coach Ryan Freckleton commented: “The squad performed amazingly and we look forward to the Outdoor Championship where we aim to continue our success and bring home the title again.”
