Oaklands College A Level Academy achieves 97% pass rate

Oaklands College students have once again produced fantastic A Level results with 97% of students passing their exams. In addition to this, the number of learners achieving A and A* has more than doubled in the last year.

Furthermore, 10 subjects achieved an impressive 100% pass rate: English Language, Literature, Film Studies, Government and Politics, Human Biology, Law, Maths, Media Studies, Photography and Sociology.

Zoe Hancock, Principal of Oaklands College, commented: “We are very proud of the successes of our students this year and I would like to congratulate them all on their achievements.

“With greater numbers of students taking advantage of our A Level Academy and the independent and supportive learning environment we offer, we hope that we can continue to help more learners reach their potential and plan for a great career.”

Julie Johnson, Welfare, Information and Guidance Manager at Oaklands College added: “For those students who want help in making a decision about the next step in their learning, Oaklands College is running a series of open evenings at the end of August and an Advice Day on 26 August. Students can also contact our Advice Team who will be on hand with expert careers advice at any time.”
