Oaklands College celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

As the FE sector continues to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, Oaklands College are proud to share some of the student success stories throughout the week, across our social channels. 

Oaklands College was this week rewarded for its Apprenticeship programme, when named in the Top 50 Apprenticeship Providers in the UK. An award voted for by the apprentices themselves. 

With over 800 apprentices enrolled onto programmes at Oaklands College, we are dedicated to providing students with work-based learning, combining working in a real business environment with study programmes towards nationally recognised technical qualifications. 

Why choose an apprenticeship?

Choosing an apprenticeship means students can benefit from access to excellent progression opportunities, whether looking to study further or climb the ranks within the workplace. 

Interestingly, 95% of surveyed apprentices at Oaklands College said an apprenticeship at the college enabled them to work within their chosen career area, with 91% of Oaklands apprentices remaining in employment after they complete their apprenticeship.
