Entry requirements

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 9 - 3 including a grade 4 in either maths or English and a Level 1 qualification.

About the course

The Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction - Gym-based Exercise is suitable for adult learners aged 19+ who are seeking a qualification which will enable them to teach gym-based exercise. this qualification is approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).

Career options

This qualification can lead to employment as a L2 Fitness Instructor in gym-based exercise. You could also progress on to relevant L3 courses such as a L3 in Personal Training.
