Oaklands website wins prestigious award
Oaklands College website has just won an Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2011 Interactive Media Awards (IMA).
Oaklands College website has just won an Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2011 Interactive Media Awards (IMA).
Launched in September 2010, designed by Itineris, the website offers a range of online services including course selection, a career toolkit, online enrolment, personalised prospectuses and course baskets.
The website received over 38,000 visits in the first three weeks of operation, scooped the award under the IMA’s ‘education’ section with an overall score of 476 out of 500. The IMA recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development internationally. The award comes just a few months after www.oaklands.ac.uk won the silver title in the website category at the FE First Awards in 2011.
