ŌITA, Japan — England Rugby head coach Eddie Jones has named Jack Singleton in his 31-man squad to represent the famous red rose at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Excitingly, of the 31 players chosen to represent England, Oaklands College alumni and former Oaklands Wolves Rugby Academy graduate Jack Singleton has been selected as part of the squad aiming to lift the World Cup for the second time, having previously done so in 2003.

Jack, who excelled in his first international cap against Wales on Sunday, which England won 33-19 at Twickenham, will head to Japan with the Oaklands Wolfpack firmly behind him.

Oaklands College staff and students both past and present will be keeping a keen eye on Jack’s progress, as England prepare to face Tonga in the World Cup Pool C fixture on Sunday 22nd September.

Jack joins an impressive list of Oaklands College graduates who have represented England across a variety of different levels, including Saracens lock Joel Kpoku and brother Jonathan, Northampton Saints prop Karl Garside, Hayden Stringer and Saracens Women winger Charlotte Clapp, to name a few.
