Our Equestrian Centre is pleased to offer clinics on show jumping and dressage. The sessions are delivered by a range of professional trainers with wide industry experience, and are open to the public.
Please contact us if you’re interested in any of the sessions listed below and we will help arrange it for you.
Mia competes and trains throughout the country. She has put her unique riding and training experiences together in order to inform and educate riders and horses of all ages and abilities. BSJA accredited coach and BHAII accredited.
Run under the British showjumping club rules, showjumping is a competitive sport where Horse and rider work as a team to jump a course of show jumping obstacles, including verticals, spreads, double and triple combinations, usually with many turns and changes of direction. The intent is to jump cleanly over a set course within an allotted time. Our competitions aim to provide classes for all levels of competitors.
An ideal opportunity to get started at dressage to music or improve on your current test. Our friendly and rider-focussed clinics are tailored to cater for all levels and abilities, whether starting out at dressage to music, working towards a higher test or refining your freestyle.
Dressage To Music. You will have the opportunity to learn about tempos plus choose and ride to different types of music – an excellent insight for your freestyle test. Claire has years of experience in designing floor plans and producing music for clients from riding club level to Grand Prix with many clients successfully competing nationally and internationally. Para-dressage/young riders are most welcome.
Clinics last 45 minutes and cost £35. The working in area is outdoors on a surface but your session will be in the indoor school. If you wish to work on a freestyle routine then please let us know at the time of booking as we also offer 60 minutes slots for £45. Here we will go through your test, check the timings and tempos, ride to some music and your test can be video recorded for no extra cost.
Times for the day will be allocated a couple of days in advance. Please let us know if you have any preference for morning or afternoon.
Many clients find that after attending one of our clinics their freestyle can be completed without a further session using the video taken on the day and/or the music consultation. We believe in providing a quality service that is tailor made to each horse and rider and not about sharing floor plans/music with other competitors. Please ask about our services as we can often accommodate!
