The College offers courses to professionals who find themselves in
need to develop skills or enhance knowledge in a chosen field.
Accredited by professional bodies, our students gain widely recognised
qualification respected by employers.
The courses are usually delivered at times to fit around work commitments and can be organised for larger groups upon request.
The training provision at Oaklands College aims to meet the needs of
our business community. Training days can either take place at your
offices or, here on site at Oaklands college in one of our conference
rooms at St Albans campus.
The areas attached cover a number of key areas in any organisation
and can be adapted to meet the various levels of seniority in the

Prices are as follows for each of the training topics:
We ask for a minimum of 6 delegates and a maximum of 12 delegates on each course.
The only additional charge would be mileage which is charged at the
standard rate of £0.40 per mile in addition to the course fee.
Professional courses are ideal for those in work and who wish to enhance
their career prospects or maybe consider a change of career. The
courses at Oaklands College are professionally accredited by AAT, The professional body for accounting technicians, and Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) - both well recognised by employers.
We support organisations by providing bespoke training solutions that
fit your exact needs. The College can organise a complete training
session for your staff, including curriculum, staff and facilities.

We recognise the need for professionals to
gain an award while continuing their employment and the following
courses can help you achieve that.
National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are work-based awards in
England that are achieved through assessment and training. It’s an ideal
way to learn without having to give up work and employers agree that
they demonstrate the true skills of an employee.
NVQs are available for all in employment; it can be a starting point
to improve your skills or start on the job train in due to a career
change. Either way, you will find a variety of short courses to suit
your requirements here at Oaklands College.
