Kev Speed

My passion has always been about food and I love people so I decided it was best to go back to my roots and teach people my skills and applied and was successful in becoming a College Lecturer. Being happy at work is not all about money but doing something you enjoy.

Mark Sharples

I have a passion for local and sustainable food and have been recognised as a Food Hero in Hertfordshire. A true highlight in my career was cooking for Margaret Thatcher.

Paul Wood

I cooked for the Queen on two occasions and being selected as one of the 100 hundred chefs on the Queen Mother's 100th birthday parade in London.

George Mercer

One of the best work experiences I've had was at a hotel in Les Deux Alps in France. I worked there for six months, surrounded by snow. It was incredibly fun, but very hard work. I worked in all departments of the hotel and vowed to go back when I could.
