WELWYN GARDEN CITY — Performing Arts students studying at Oaklands College’s Welwyn Garden City Campus were given a stage and film combat masterclass last week.

Our Performing Arts Department gives students the perfect platform to develop your talent in acting, singing or dancing.

Students operate as a professional Theatre Company which provides them with real life experience of the industry, opportunities to perform regularly and to undertake other job roles within the sector.

A close contact of the Performing Arts Department; stage combat expert Dan Johnson, visited the Welwyn Garden City Campus recently to deliver a number of masterclass sessions for Performing Arts students.

Students learnt stage fighting techniques, including swordplay practice for their upcoming performance of Macbeth, which will be open to the public on Thursday 13th February 2020.

If you are interested in attending the performance of Macbeth at our Welwyn Garden City campus, please get in touch with our Performing Arts Co-Ordinator to express your interest here.
