Luisa started out at Oaklands College on the Level 2 Art & Design course.

Having successfully completed the Level 2 course, achieving a Distinction, Luisa enrolled onto the two year BTEC Level 3 Graphic Design course, where she continued to impress her tutors and peers with her willingness to learn and her determination to succeed.

Luisa’s hard work and determination again saw her succeed, achieving another Distinction at Level 3, completing the course in June 2019.

On 12 December 2018, BTEC Level 3 Graphic Design students Jonathan  and Luisa were hand-selected by a judging committee for their impressive work on a live-brief set out by ‘My Kinda Future’.

Despite not winning the final, Jonathan and Luisa were the only group from the finals’ participants to produce a campaign with original material, accompanying the logistics of their campaign.

Oozing with pride, Luisa’s Graphics Design teacher Huma said: “The students did exceptionally well at the finals and despite their nerves, maintained their professionalism throughout. All the Extended Diploma Graphic Design second year students worked incredibly hard and produced innovative and professional work that they should be proud of.”

Luisa is now about to begin an Honours Degree at the University of Bedfordshire, studying a subject she is incredibly passionate about – Interior Design.
