Tell us about your time at Oaklands. What led you to study here and what did you enjoy about your time at the college?

I failed my A-levels but I still wanted to go to University and get my degree. Reflecting on this also made me realise I preferred coursework to exams. The camaraderie with the students and the sense of  community is what I enjoyed most about studying at Oaklands College.

What are you doing now?

After gaining a Degree in Business with Marketing at the University of Brighton, I am now running 3 businesses, some of which have featured in Daily Mail, Metro, The Times, Absolute Radio, BBC Radio 1, Forbes and more.

My businesses include: my record label Atmos Tempo Records, my school Music Workflow Academy, and my life coaching business called The Mindset Bible. I DJ for 6 months in Ibiza whilst running my business during the day and performing at night. I then DJ for 6 months in the French alps in a 5 star ski resort. I am now in the Forbes 30 Under 30 List – Europe, Entertainment 2022. My music school has 45,000 students from 150+ countries. A main goal for this business is aiming for 100,000 students by the end of the year.

What would you say has/have been major highlights of your time at Oaklands that you may wish to share with us and our students?

Making friends, finishing with D*D*D and enough UCAS points to go to my University of choice.

Would you recommend the course that you studied, if so, why?

I would definitely recommend my course! It has helped me to this day with real life business issues that I have faced. Such as gaining a competitive advantage, the AIDA model, customer acquisition and retention. All of the tutors were fantastic.
