ZOE-WEIR

Name: Zoe
Course: Intensive A Level in Photography

Zoe joined Oaklands College in 2018 to study an intensive A Level Photography course, which combined a two year course into one year.

Zoe achieved an A* in both Photography and her independent research project (EPQ), a testament to her perseverance and dedication to her studies.

As part of her EPQ, Zoe researched into the “ethics of prosthetics”, she said: “I really enjoyed the independent research project, it allowed me prepare and experience writing a paper similar to a University dissertation, it was a 7,000 word essay and my field of study linked to Sports Science, which I will be studying at University in September”.

It comes as no surprise that Zoe has received an unconditional offer to study Sports Science at the University of Surrey in September.

On behalf of everyone at Oaklands College, we would like to wish Zoe the best of like at University and are confident that she will reach her full potential!

“I’m really looking forward to starting University in September and getting used to life at uni!”
