Sean took a slightly alternative route to many in his position. On completing his BTEC in Sport Performance Sean stayed on as Strength & Conditioning Intern with the College Academy.
Formerly a member of Saracens Academy, Sean was released as a player and went on to play for Southend RFC in National 2 for two years whilst working at the College, but soon decided to focus his attention on his coaching rather than playing career.
Working under the guidance of the lead strength & conditioning coach initially, Sean progressed to head up the Strength & Conditioning for the College rugby programme, before heading to Saracens Academy as a full time Strength & Conditioning Coach.
During this time Sean completed a Masters Degree in Strength & Conditioning with Middlesex University, despite not having completed an undergraduate degree, and has recently been appointed to the role of Head of Strength & Conditioning for Bedford Blues.
